Meyer was called to his eternal rest Tuesday evening, Oct. 24, 2023, at Sanford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, Minn. Visitation will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn and a celebration of life for Leroy and Valera will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sherburn American Legion. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn is in charge of arrangements.

Leroy Edwin Meyer was born July 23, 1929, in Fairmont, Minn., to Edwin and Elsie (Brandt) Meyer.

Survivors include: his daughter, Darla Runge of Sherburn, Minn.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lylas Scheff and Betty Scheff, both of Fairmont, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
