Keith D. Winkelman
ORMSBY — A service of remembrance for Keith D. Winkelman, 74, of rural Ormsby, Minn., will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at First Lutheran Church in St. James. There will be military honors by the St. James Veterans Honor Guard outside the church.
Winkelman was called to his eternal rest Saturday morning, Oct. 21, 2023, at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital St. Louis Park, Minn. Visitation will be prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the church in St. James. Arrangements are under the care of Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont.
Keith Donald Winkelman was born Nov. 4, 1948, to Donald and Velma (Olson) Winkelman in Mountain Lake, Minn. He enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard in 1967, serving until his honorable discharge in 1973.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Winkelman of rural St. James, Minn.; daughter, Christa Winkelman of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sons, Bryan Winkelman of rural Ormsby, Minn. and Matt Winkelman of St. James; five grandchildren; sister, Karen Lieser of Montevideo, Minn.; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Hilgendorf of rural Trimont, Minn., Mary Winkelman of rural Ormsby, Minn., Melanie Hunstad of North Mankato, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
