Joan was born in December 1947 to Enoch and Esther Margaret Kittleson. As an adult, she lived in several different places including Fairmont, Minn., Algona, Iowa, and Hawaii. In 1989 she married Larry Pearson and settled back in Sherburn, Minn. Her daughter, Ciara, was born the following April. Joan spent her remaining years raising her daughter as a stay at home mom. She enjoyed working outdoors and always had some kind of project planned.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Ciara; siblings, Allan, Nancy and Rod; nieces, Julie and Jessica; and nephews, Mark, Brice, Brady, Layne, Brook and Justin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; siblings, Larry and Danny; and parents, Enoch and Margaret.
