Deanna Mishell (Johnson) Grashorn was born Feb. 27, 1981, in Cambridge, Minn., the daughter of Dale and Mishell (Ammerman) Johnson. She grew up in the Pine City and North Branch area where she attended school.

Deanna was blessed when she met Scott Aubart and together the couple welcomed two children into the world, Jayden and Jorden. Following his passing, Deanna was working in Hinkley, Minn., where she met Michael Grashorn. Deanna and Michael were united in marriage on March 5, 2011, in Pine City, Minn., and later moved to Fairmont where they made their home.

Deanna had a zest for life and cherished spending time with her children, Jayden and Jorden, her niece, Promise and family. She had a special place in her heart for her four-legged friends, Thor and Lola, and could often be found cuddling with them and snapping selfies. Deanna looked forward to warm summer days and creating special gardens around the house with fairies and was especially known for her gnome gardens. She had a weakness for shopping and loved looking for the next deal both online and at the store. Deanna enjoyed playing games on her phone and gambling with her favorite game being Chumba.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Michael Grashorn; sons, Jayden Aubart and Jorden Aubart; mother, Mishell Johnson; niece, Promise Merril; her four-legged fur babies, Thor and Lola; as well as many other extended family and friends.
