Ruth Underbakke
BLUE EARTH — A funeral service for Ruth Elaine Underbakke, age 96, of Blue Earth, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Elmore, Minn.
Underbakke died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church in Elmore. Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth Elaine Gangstee was born March 18, 1927, to Grant and Cecile (Wells) Gangstee.
Survivors include: her three children, Steven Underbakke of Carlisle, Pa., Phillip Underbakke of Blue Earth and Julie Jefson of Forest City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
