Cindy Lee was born July 17, 1957, to Charles J. and Joyce M. (Huntley) Deling in Estherville, Iowa. Growing up she attended school in Ceylon and was a member of the 1975 graduating class of Ceylon High School. Following graduation, she attended Jackson Vocational for sales and marketing and later attended Iowa Lakes for photography and also received her medical transcriptionist degree.Cindy worked various jobs throughout her life including Gopher One in Eagan, Minn. and as a telemarketer in Fairmont. The most important job to her, however, was helping her siblings with their children. Cindy had a heart that burst with joy for her nieces and nephews, and the love she had for them was unconditional. She took great care of them and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. Cindy also enjoyed reading, drawing and crocheting. You could always count on receiving a smile, a hug, and an ‘I love you’ whenever you saw her. Cindy always gave the best hugs and they will be missed by all.

Linwood, Minn.; nieces and nephews: Lucas Schultze, Lacey Archerd, Callie Hartman, Cammy Hilgendorf, Samantha Schultze, Joshua Deling, Rebecca Colville, Nathan Drennen, Hannah Drennen, Mason Deling, Andrew Poe, Britney Deling, Karly Deling, Michael Holtz, Leticia Dorschner, Brittany Lutz, Jayne Weseman, Charles Deling II and Wyatt Deling; many other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Matt Deling; and brother-in-law, Gary Drennen.
