Leon H. Gerken

FAIRMONT — Mass of Christian Burial for Leon H. Gerken, age 89, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Fairmont with military honors provided by Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222.

Gerken passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 17, 2023, at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
