ARMSTRONG — Theresa Rosemary Steinberger, 95, of Armstrong, Iowa, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong, Iowa, with Father Paul Kelly as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Armstrong.
Theresa was born Oct. 2, 1927, at home in Armstrong, Iowa, to Fred and Minnie Boland. She was the youngest of one boy and three girls.She worked at a dry cleaner in Armstrong, the food canning factory in Fairmont and the drugstore in Armstrong.
Theresa met her husband Cliff at the White House Cafe in Armstrong, and they were married on May 17, 1957. Theresa had four children, Jerry (Nancy), Brenda, Angie and Lori(Dennis). She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Calista Stefanski.Theresa enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time with her family and enjoying winters in Arizona.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cliff; brother, Art; sister, Dorothy; grandchildren, Rick, Lisa and Shelby; and son-in-law, Carl. Online condolences may be left for Theresa’s family at www.henryolsonfuneral.com.
