Malo passed away Monday morning, Aug. 28, 2023, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Delmer Gene Malo was born April 22, 1937, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Elmer and Lucille (Grems) Malo. He served his county as a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard.

Survivors include: his wife, Beth Malo of Fairmont, Minn.; children, Pam Olson of Watertown, Minn., Robin Wickersham of Nixa, Mo., Sara Cummings of Madison, Kan. and Kevin Malo of North Liberty, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Thiesse of St. Peter, Minn.; many other relatives and friends.
