losing his battle to cancer. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn, Minn., and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Arrangements for the family by the Kramer Family Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome.

Rick was born July 17, 1960, to Richard and Shirley (Schnittger) Brolsma in Estherville, Iowa.

Survivors include: his mother, Shirley Brolsma of Fairmont; his three daughters, Tara of Minneapolis, Kayla of Eagan, Sara Osborn of Monticello; three grandchildren; sisters, Jodi Hawkins of Fairmont, Lisa Hanson of Detroit Lakes; brother, Heath Brolsma of Plymouth; other relatives and friends.
