Miller was called to his eternal rest Friday afternoon, Aug. 4, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in St. James, Minn. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 p.m. today, Aug. 8, at First Lutheran Church in St. James. Arrangements are under the care of Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, Sherburn and Welcome.

Gary Lee Miller was born Oct. 11, 1941, in St. James, Minn., to Merle and Ellen (Mickelson) Miller. He served in the U.S. Air Force until being honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his son, Brad J. Miller of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Awiszus of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Janice Wojahn of rural Windom, Minn. and Phyllis Brink of Rushmore, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
