Karen Sue Eustath
FAIRMONT — As per her wishes, there will be no services or visitation for Karen Sue Eustath, 81, of Fairmont, Minn., formerly of Sherburn, Minn. Burial will be held at a later date in Elm Creek Cemetery, rural Trimont, Minn.
Karen passed away Wednesday evening, July 26, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Arrangements are under the care of Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, Sherburn and Welcome.

Karen Sue Whitehead was born April 26, 1942, in Fairmont, Minn., to L.M. and Doris (Crandall) Whitehead. She was a 1960 graduate of Sherburn High School and a 1964 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn. Karen began her career as a medical technologist in Port Angles, Wash. She met William C. Eustath there while he was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. They were married on April 2, 1966. They later moved to Seattle where she spent the rest of her career at Swedish Hospital. Upon retirement in 2005, they moved to Fairmont, Minn. to be closer to her family.
Karen is survived by her sister, Barb (Lloyd “Sam” ) Clemmensen of Fairmont; nephew, Chris (Anita) Clemmensen; great-nephews, Cameron and Aaron of Virginia Beach, Va.; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Eustath; parents, L.M. and Doris Whitehead; brother, Brian Whitehead; mother and father-in-law, William and Helen Eustath; many aunts, uncles, cousins and her four poodles, Angus, Shadow, Amos and Mischief.
