Alice M. Schultze

WOODBURY — Alice Marie Schultze, age 89, of Woodbury, Minn., passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. Visitation for Alice will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, followed by a funeral service at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Rd. in Woodbury, Minn. She was born July 10, 1934, in Fairmont, Minn., to Frank and Winnifred (Guckeen) Wannarka. Alice was a devoted Christian and a founding member of Woodbury Lutheran Church. She served as the church’s secretary for many years and was very involved in the Alpha group. Alice was happily married to Wilbert (Whip) Schultze for 42 years. Alice was a dedicated and steadfast mother to her three sons, Dennis (Laurie) Schultze, Doug (Pamela) Schultze and Steve (Wendy) Schultze. She was also a loving grandmother to Mary, Kevin, Brian, Jordan, Peter, Kelsey and Katie, and a proud great-grandmother to Quinn. Alice’s life revolved around her family. She also cherished her many friends, including the fishing bunch, her golfing ladies and the Alfa group. She was known as a wonderful cook, having written her own cookbook. In her professional life, Alice worked as a paralegal for Collins, Buckley, Sauntry & Haugh for over three decades. She was known for her dedication and commitment to her work.

Alice is survived by her brother, Tom (Deirdre) Wannarka; her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a loving community of friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbert (Whip) Schultze; her parents, Frank and

Winnifred Wannarka; her brothers, Lawrence and Robert Wannarka; and her sister, Marie Huemoemiller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Woodbury Lutheran Church in honor of Alice’s memory. www.bradshawfuneral.com
