Steven D. Anderson
GOWRIE — Steven D. Anderson, 75, of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, formerly of Gowrie, Iowa, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at his home. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at Gowrie Township Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the American Legion Peterson Post 431 of Gowrie. Palmer Funeral Home of Gowrie is in charge of arrangements.
Steven Duane Anderson was born July 5, 1947, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Oda and Duane Anderson. He served in the U.S. Navy as a communications technician, stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his spouse, June; mother, Oda; son, Troy; daughter, Teresa Anderson; two grandchildren; siblings, Pam Anderson, Barry, Terry, Shawn and Darin; other relatives and friends.
