Engold Diel
ST. JAMES — Funeral services for Engold Linda Diel, 79, of St. James, will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, at St. John’s Lutheran Church Willow Creek, rural Vernon Center, Minn. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery Willow Creek.
Diel passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Lake, Minn. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Zaharia Family Funeral Home in Truman is in charge of arrangements.
Engold was born July 25, 1943, in Truman, Minn., to Wilhelm and Ana (Blume) Diel.
Survivors include: her children, Art Dougherty, Jr. of St. James, Wayne Dougherty of Frost and RuthAnn Dougherty of Lake Crystal; sister-in-law, Doris Diel of Amboy; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
