Steven Eugene Tow was born June 1, 1957, at Lutheran Hospital in Iowa to Ordean and LaVonne (Pedersen) Tow. Steve graduated from Ringsted High School in 1975. He then attended college at Buena Vista College and Iowa Lakes Community College. Steve married

Monica Stensby in 1985. Their marriage later dissolved, but they remained friends. Steve was a salesman and manager at parts stores in both Jackson and St. Cloud, Minn. While in St. Cloud, he lived with his former partner, Val Dahlke. In November of 2022 he returned to live in Ringsted. Steve was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ringsted. He was currently a member of United Lutheran Church.

Steve is survived by his mother, LaVonne Tow of Ringsted; sister, Lucinda (Marty) Kane; nieces, Andrea Bradeen and Heather Winterfeld; nephew, Zachary Kane; and great-nephew, Solomon Winterfeld. He was preceded in death by his father, Ordean Tow; his grandparents; several aunts, uncles and cousins. www.henryolsonfuneral.com
