Rienhardt passed away Monday afternoon, May 29, 2023, at his home in Dunnell, Minn. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church in Dunnell. Arrangements are under the care of Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, Sherburn and Welcome.

Robert LaVern Rienhardt was born March 23, 1931, in Dolliver, Iowa, to Herman and Myrtle (Sharar) Rienhardt. He was drafted in the U.S. Army in February, 1952, and served in Korea until Feb. 3, 1954, and was honorably discharged in 1961 after serving in the Army Reserves.

Survivors include: his wife of 69 years, Bessie Rienhardt of Dunnell, Minn.; his children, Anita Ann Ogren of Alpha, Minn., Cynthia Lue Rienhardt of Jackson, Minn., Robert Lawrence Rienhardt of Waseca, Minn. and Ricky Allan Rienhardt of Dunnell, Minn. and Scranton, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Stanley Rienhardt of Estherville, Iowa, Rosemary Hansen of Estherville, Iowa, Karen Beitz of Fontanelle, Iowa and Jerry Rienhardt of Estherville, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
