Kay passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 23, 2023, at Franklin Restorative Care Center in Franklin, Minn. Memorials are preferred to Franklin Restorative Care Center in Franklin, Minn. Kay Marie (Grussing) Cutler was born Nov. 11, 1943, to James and Loraine (Garlisch) Grussing in Fairmont, Minn. She attended country school and graduated from Trimont High School in 1961. After high school, Kay attended DeLyle’s Beauty School and graduated from there in 1962. On Feb. 18, 1967, Kay was united in marriage to Kenneth Cutler. This marriage was blessed with three children, Connie, Nick and June. Kay kept busy as a housewife. Kay was a member of First Lutheran Church in Trimont. She enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends.

Kay is survived by her husband, Kenneth Cutler of Trimont; three children, Connie Cutler of Watertown, S.D., Nick (Courtney) Cutler of Trimont and June Cutler of Cottonwood; two grandchildren, Claire and Brenna Cutler; brother, Paul (Carolyn) Grussing of Fairmont; two brothers-in-law, Russell (Carol) Jensen of Fairmont and Chris (Angie) Brand of Eau Claire, Wis.; nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Loraine Grussing; granddaughter, Cara Cutler Christians; and two sisters, Ann Jensen and Linda Brand.
