Ryan S. Lunn

FAIRMONT — A private service for Ryan S. Lunn, age 54, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Interment will be held at a later date. A public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Lakeview Funeral Home in

Fairmont.

Ryan passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 8, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ryan was born Sept. 25, 1968, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Sandra (Fenske) Lunn. He attended school in Sherburn, Minn. and graduated in 1987. Ryan spent much of his life working with his dad in construction where he learned valuable skills that he used in his own business after his father’s passing.

Ryan leaves behind his wife, the love of his life, Karla (Beatty) Lunn, whom he married on Dec. 21, 1996, at Four Columns Inn in Sherburn, Minn. They were blessed with 26 wonderful years. To this union two daughters were born. Alexis Lunn (22) and Rebecca Lunn (20). Ryan was a devoted husband and father who always put their needs first. His girls were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He loved Minnesota sports and enjoyed attending MN Wild and MN Vikings games with his family. He had a

kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He lived his life with integrity, always striving to do what was right. Ryan touched many lives and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unexpected passing has

left a void in the heart of those who loved him. His memory will live on in all the beautiful structures he created and in his family.

In addition to his wife Karla and daughters Lexi and Becca, Ryan is also survived by his mother Sandy Lunn; sisters, Renee Reich and Robin Lunn; two brothers-in-law, Kurt Beatty (Colleen), Kent Beatty (Lori); one sister-in-law, Kelley Molitor (John); many nieces and

nephews, Sydney Maday, Jacob Haefner, Emily Belk (Christopher), Matthew Beatty, Whitney Germundson (Kyle), Jennifer Marzen (Ryan), Trevor Molitor (Cassidy), Tanner Molitor; great-nephews and nieces, Jackson Belk, Hayden Germunson, Eziekel Marzen, Elijah Marzen and Adalynn Molitor. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lunn; father-in-law, Robert Beatty; mother-in-law, Margaret Beatty; and nephew, Tyler Molitor. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
