Doris passed away Tuesday evening, April 25, 2023, at Goldfinch Memory Care in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Doris Jean (Rousseau) Langford was born July 13, 1943, in Weston, Mich., the daughter of Norris and Mary (Tapper) Rousseau. Doris and her family lived in various locations including Algona, Elmore, Blue Earth and Fairmont. On Aug. 7, 1971, Doris was united in marriage to Steve Langford at United Methodist Church in Fairmont. The couple resided in Fairmont while Doris worked at TELEX in Blue Earth. In September of 1976, Doris began working at Weigh Tronix in Fairmont where she worked until her retirement in 2005. Doris and Steve shared over fifty-one years together. Doris was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fairmont as well as the Army National Guard Auxiliary, Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 Auxiliary, and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222 Auxiliary. During her free time, Doris enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and macrame. She would even sometimes knit little booties for her co-worker’s newborn babies. Doris also loved playing different games with her family while they were camping or while they were together during holidays. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Steve Langford of Fairmont; five brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Norris and Mary Rousseau, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Allan Langford; sister, ViAnn Hunt and her husband, Bill; and parents-in-law, Don and Marian Langford.
