Michael passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael Dean Edinger was born April 10, 1948, to Robert and Ila (West) Edinger in Plankinton, S.D. He graduated from Granada High School with the class of 1966. Mike was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1968 until being honorably discharged in 1974 as a Specialist 5. Mike made his home in Northrop, Minn. He worked for 34 years at Tyco (Amdevco/American Western) and then worked at Rosen’s, Weigh-Tronix and Harsco in Fairmont. Mike was a member of the Northrop American Legion Post 522 for many years. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jeff (JoAnn) Edinger of Temple, Texas and Jennifer Edinger of Plymouth, Minn; siblings, Sheila Artner, Danny Edinger, Randy (Patricia) Edinger, Kathy (Dale) Ratcliff and Bobby (Deb Tudor) Edinger; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
