Bob worked at Arts Way Mfg. in Armstrong, Iowa for 31 years. After retiring, Bob ran B&G Gardenings with his wife of 50 years, Georgia. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock hunting, making wooden toys for grand-kids, but really enjoyed growing the best veggies around.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela (Siems) Haack; two sons, Robert Siems Jr. and Richard Siems; six stepchildren, Dave (Deb) Grant, Bryan (Dee) Grant, Lorelei (Kai) Brown, Charles (Gail) Grant and Michaelle Grant Kelly; and Virginia Darr.
