GRANADA-- A private family service for Kelly M. Fritz, 40, of Granada, Minn., will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Fraser Township with interment in Center Chain Cemetery in rural East Chain. A public visitation will be 4 to 7p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Kelly passed away Saturday morning, April 8, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kelly Marie (Bergemann) Fritz was born on May 19, 1982, in Fairmont. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Kathy (Anderson) Bergemann. Kelly attended Martin County West and graduated in 2000. While in high school, Kelly began working part-time in the kitchen at Fairmont Community Hospital. After graduating from high school, she started working as an appointment scheduler at the Mayo Clinic. Kelly worked for Mayo for over twenty-five years.
On September 10, 2005, Kelly was united in marriage to Nicholas Fritz in Fairmont. The couple resided in rural Huntley and were blessed with a son, Liam. When she wasn't working, Kelly enjoyed 4-wheeling, camping, motorcycle trips and spending time with family and friends. She most loved the time she was able to spend with Nick and Liam in Nick's shop or even just working outside.
Left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Nick Fritz; son, Liam Fritz; parents, Ken and Kathy Bergemann; parents-in-law, Bill and Deb Fritz; brother, Kody Bergemann and Hannah, and Kody's sons, Braxton and Baylor; sister-in-law, Kristin Fritz Grammond and Kyle and their children, Jayden, Laken, and Braven; Uncles and Aunts, Keith and Elaine Anderson, Kirk and Amy Anderson, Steve and Joy Bergemann, Doug and Kathy Bergemann, Kathy and Kevin Stoneback, Pat and Dan Schmidtke, Nancy and Kelly Howell, Dick Carter and Doug Carter; and many cousins, other family and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Marilyn Anderson, William and Bonnie Carter, and Delano and Elaine Bergemann; and aunt, Judy Bergemann.
