GRANADA -- A memorial visitation for Donald "Don" L. Hall, age 70, of Granada, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. A graveside service will be held at Center Creek Cemetery, rural Granada, following the visitation.
Donald passed away Sunday morning, March 26, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donald Lynn Hall was born Nov. 27, 1952, on the Hall family farm in Center Creek Township, Martin County, Minn., the son of Wilbur and Clara (Measor) Hall. Don attended Granada public schools and graduated from Granada High School. He furthered his education and later graduated with a degree as an electrician from Jackson Vocational School. After high school, Don lived and worked in Elmore, Minn. as an electrician for many years. Don later returned to the family farm over 30 years ago after his parents passed away so he could continue the work on the Hall farm. When he wasn't working, Don enjoyed tending to his yard as well as watching and feeding the birds and watching the squirrels run around the yard.
Left to cherish his memory include special friend, Ruth Marie; sisters-in-law, Pat Hall and Harriet Danielson; niece, Heather Wiederhoeft; nephews, Ryan Hall, Jeffrey Hall and Steven Hall; great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrea, Tyler, Jordan and Alyssa Wiederhoeft, and Reagan and Peyton Hall, and Makayla Hall; other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Wilbur and Clara Hall, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Hall and Robert Hall.
