ST. JAMES -- Freeman Hoppe, 83, of St. James, Minn., died Friday, March 24, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Health System, St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at First Lutheran Church in St. James, with visitation prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, rural St. James. Sturm Funeral Home in St. James is in charge of arrangements.
