SWEA CITY -- Janice L. Berven, age 86, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, Iowa. No services for her are planned at this time. Henry-Olson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Janice was born Oct. 22, 1936, in Swan Lake Township, Emmet County, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Alice (Larson). She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5232.
Survivors include: her children, Linnea Cook, Butch Looft, Mike Looft and Scott Looft; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Oscar K. Berven; and Dennis Looft.
