James ‘Jim’ Hubley
MARSHALL — James “Jim” Hubley, 74, of Marshall, Minn., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., died Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall, after a short illness. Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church in Marshall. Interment with military honors will be at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn. Horvath Funeral Service of Marshall is in charge of arrangements.
James Arthur Hubley was born Nov. 19, 1948, in Fairmont, Minn., to John and Lois (Waldstein) Hubley. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Washington D.C., Berlin, Germany, and Vietnam before being honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his wife, Barb of Marshall; children, Daniel Hubley of Savage, Minn., Adam Hubley of Apple Valley, Minn., Jessica Hubley of Milaca, Minn.; two grandchildren; siblings, John Hubley of Jeffers, Minn., Charles Hubley of Fairmont, Minn., and Kathryn Lake of Tucson, Ariz.; and many other family and friends.
