FAIRMONT -- A celebration of life service for Brenna I. E. Abel, age 20, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Brenna Ida Elizabeth Abel came into this world Feb. 4, 2003, on her beloved Grandpa Joe's birthday. Heartbreakingly to her family and friends, Brenna left this world peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, at her home in Fairmont.
There are these times when we as humans question God's plan because we feel we did not have enough time, but time is one of the many gifts God has blessed us with. You see God needed our beautiful Brenna, but before that he blessed us with memories we will hold onto so tight forever and ever. You see Brenna was a woman of depth. She loved deeply and laughed wholly. She felt everything and still was able to light up any room she entered. She was a woman with strong opinions and a free thinker. She taught us all so much, but the biggest thing is the deepest kind of love.
Our dearest Brenna, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you, so please don't take my sunshine away."
Brenna is survived by her precious fur babies, Iris and Peanut; and her loving family which include her mother, Liz Hill; father, Royce (Julie) Abel; siblings, Jesse (Jodi) Hill and their children, Charli and Silas; Natasha Hill (James Holgate); Dominic Hill and his children, Oliver and Greyson; Karlie Abel and Ana Hill; grandparents, Joe and Ida Rae Roessler, and Lois Abel; and many other family and friends.
