BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Richard Lee Stade, 73, of Boulder City, Nev., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at St Rose Sienna Hospital. Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at St. Christopher's Church in Boulder City, with burial afterwards at Boulder City Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn., to Howard and Kathleen Stade. He grew up and was a 1970 graduate of Trimont High School. For many years he worked for Amdevco Plastics in Fairmont, Minn., but continued to make his home in Trimont. Upon retirement, he moved permanently to Boulder City to be closer to his sister, Sandra Johnson and her husband, Allan, and their children. In the last few years of his life, he was a member of St Christopher's Church in Boulder City. He loved the Minnesota Vikings, watching old TV series, and his dog Hank. He is survived by his sister, Sandra (Stade) Johnson of Boulder City; her husband, Allan; nephew, Kyle Johnson and his wife, Sonia of Boulder City; niece, Carissa (Johnson) Gibson and her husband, Chris of Ketchikan, Alaska; niece, Cheyenne Johnson of Boulder City; several great-nieces and nephews; his uncle, Rollo Stade of Greeley, Colo; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; grandparents; and nephew, Christopher Johnson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to St. Christopher's Church.
