TRUMAN -- Ellen Jane Friddle, 92, passed away quietly Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at her home in Truman, Minn. A lakeside memorial service will take place later this summer with her nephew Ken Greeley officiating. Burial will follow at the Horicon Church of Christ Cemetery near Truman. Friends will be contacted and receive more information at a future date.
Ellen was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of the late Ivan and Pearl (Reader) Greeley. After graduation from high school, she attended Minnesota Bible College and holds a BA degree. She married Dale Friddle (pastor) and together they ministered faithfully at Cohasset Church of Christ, to the Sciota, Illinois Christian Church, to the White Bear Lake Church of Christ, to the University Church of Christ, the New Brighton Christian Church, and at the Minnesota Bible College. Ellen is survived by a daughter, Diane Greeley of Grand Marais, Minn.; son, Steve Friddle of Olympia, Wash.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sybil (Greeley) Evans; and brothers, Doyle Greeley and Bernard Greeley.
