LAKEFIELD -- Marvin Appel, age 92, of Lakefield, Minn., passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at his home in Lakefield. A celebration of life service for Marvin will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield, with Pastor Phil Beukema officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Lakefield. Military honors will be provided by the Swen-Rasmussen American Legion Post 4 and Hanson-Ward VFW Post 4743 of Lakefield. A time of visitation and gathering will be held 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the church in Lakefield. Arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center in Windom.
