BURNSVILLE -- Marilyn K. Holtey, age 81, of Burnsville, Minn., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at her home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at Hosanna Church, 9300 163rd St. W. in Lakeville, Minn., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Marilyn retired from public education after many years of teaching. Marilyn is survived by her children, Laura (Geoff) Pettis, and Marc Holtey; grandchildren, Emma, Elliana, and Ethan; siblings, Richard (Karen), Kenneth (Judy), L. Steven (Karen) Hanson, and Marcia (Ronald) Cherland; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger.
