LEWISVILLE -- Jacob Bosshart, age 22, of Lewisville, Minn., passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, in Winnebago, Minn. A memorial visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, with a celebration of life service to be held at 4 p.m. Online condolences may be left at www.spencerowen.com.
Jacob was born March 11, 2000, in Blue Earth, Minn., to James "Jim" Bosshart and Nichole Stauffer. He attended Truman High School and graduated in 2018. He previously worked as a CNA and most recently, was working for REM as a direct support professional. Jacob enjoyed basketball, WWE wrestling, lifting weights, video games, and being active in his community. He was a jokester and loved to cheer others up. He was a gentle giant, and the kind of guy who would always be there for you if needed. Most of all, he loved his friends and family, and spending time with his daughter, Everleigh.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Everleigh; mother, Nichole (Pete) Krueger of Lewisville; father, Jim (Mickie) Bosshart of Fairmont; siblings, Danielle (Jacob) Berry of Illinois, John Bosshart of Lewisville, Joshua (Kaitlyn) Bosshart of Lewisville, and Samantha Maine of Lewisville; grandparents, Stanley Stauffer of Winnebago, and Carl and Kathy Bosshart of Truman; aunts, Sandy (fiance, Christopher) Stauffer of Maple Grove, Melanie (Steve) Wilfahrt of Jackson, Melissa Zimprich of Fairmont, Jennifer (Joe) Salzwedel of Windom, and Jacky (fiance, Stewart) Bosshart of Mankato; cousin and friend, Daniel Schimel of Truman; best friend, Harrison Mwangi of Mankato; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Stauffer.
