Tami passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 16, 2022, surrounded by family at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tamera “Tami” Lynn Zanke was born Aug. 14, 1964, to James and Margo (Ohm) Zanke in Fridley, Minn. She graduated from Fairmont High School. Tami worked as a personal care assistant for International Quality Homecare. Tami will be remembered as a kind, caring and creative person with a good sense of humor. She enjoyed painting rocks and would spread them throughout town. She loved thrifting and going to garage sales, anything tie-dye, and looked forward to a night at the casino. Tami enjoyed being in the outdoors around a campfire or at the lake. Friends were very important to Tami and she enjoyed spending time with them. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Margo Zanke; children, Scott (Felisha) Hines, and Colton Hines; significant other, Roger Buckmeier; sister, Karla (Steve) Schwebke; brother, Darin (Jessica) Zanke; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
