ST. JAMES -- A service of remembrance for John D. Danielson, 81, of St. James, Minn., will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell. Military honors by Thomas P. Saxton American Legion Post 356 of Sherburn and the Sherburn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8261 will be rendered outside the church. Following military honors, there will be a time of fellowship in the church basement.
Danielson passed away peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn is in charge of arrangements.
John David Danielson was born June 1, 1941, in Jackson, Minn., to Carl Arvid and Amy (Lundborg) Danielson. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Survivors include: his nephew, Nicholas Danielson of Minneapolis; niece, Courtney "Danielson" Christenson; other relatives and friends.
