Kristy Craig

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Kristy Sue Craig passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at Edwards - Elmhurst Hospital in Naperville, Ill., after a hard fought battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong, Iowa. A funeral service for her will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong, with Vicar Kim Campbell as Officiant. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery, rural Armstrong.

Kristy Sue Craig, daughter of Wayne and Betty (Wegner) Moeller, was born Feb. 17, 1965, in Fairmont, Minn. Kristy attended and graduated from Armstrong-Ringsted High School. She was united in marriage to Brian Craig on Oct. 8, 1983. The couple made their home in Armstrong where they raised their daughters Brooke and Olivia. After high school, Kristy worked for Arts-Way, then ran an in-home daycare where she cared for many children. After her children were in school, Kristy worked at Oleson Chiropractic. She then went to work for GKN Armstrong Wheels. In 2014, the couple had an opportunity to relocate to Naperville, ll., where she continued as Accounts Receivable Manager for WPG. She was employed by GKN/WPG for 22 years. Kristy was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. She loved to watch her girls in any activity - track, XC, etc. and was very proud of the beautiful young women they have both become. She loved the morning chats on the bed with the girls, hanging out with friends and family. She also enjoyed time at the lake and vacation getaways. Kristy loved her Guinness and Irish coffee. Loved the Cyclones and tailgate/ football Saturdays. Met great new friends in Naperville and enjoyed spending quality time with them. But, most of all, she loved her three grandsons deeply and the time spent with them. She was a joy to be around with those big blue eyes, a smile that lit up a room, and when she laughed, it was with her whole body. She will never be forgotten.

Kristy is survived by her husband, Brian Craig of Naperville, Ill.; her daughters, Brooke (Bryon) Nelsen of Armstrong, and Olivia (Kyle) Wester of Marcus, Iowa; and grandsons, Drake Nelsen, Lincoln Nelsen, and Jackson Wester. She is also survived by her father,

Wayne Moeller of Armstrong; and sisters, Connie (Gary) Tonderum of Milford, Iowa, and Lisa (Daryl) Luke of Graettinger, Iowa. Kristy was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Moeller. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.henryolsonfuneral.
