FAIRMONT -- Mass of Christian Burial for San Juanita Hernandez, age 62, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.
San Juanita passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at her daughter's home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
San Juanita was born June 8, 1960, in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Rosa Trevino and Reynaldo Trevino. On Oct. 8, 1977, San Juanita was united in marriage to Cirilo Hernandez Jr. in Sheboygan, Wis. The couple was blessed with six children: Juan, Graciela, Leslie, Cecil, Cheryl and Gabriel. San Juanita worked for Fairmont Foods until 2014. She was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Cirilo Hernandez Jr. of Fairmont, Minn.; children, Juan Trevino, Graciela (Jose) Morales, Leslie (Rigoberto) Ramirez, Cecil Hernandez, Cheryl Hernandez, and Gabriel Hernandez, all of Fairmont; grandchildren, Julian, Adrian and Mariana, Kristal (Cody Hoppe), Chelsey, Victoria, Cassandra, Nayeli, Marisela, Jose and Xaxier, Sabrina, Rigo Jr., Julian, and Ariana, and Galileya, Kimberly, Rafael and baby due in December; great-grandchildren, Zae, Yariel and Yamil; brothers, Rene Trevino and Domingo Cervantes; sister, Maria De La Luz Lozoya; other extended family and friends.
