JACKSON -- Mass of Christian Burial for Irene L. Leach, 100, of Jackson, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Jackson, with full military honors by Jackson American Legion Post 130.
Leach died Saturday evening, Aug. 27, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society in Jackson, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson, with a Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service Friday, Sept. 2, at the church. Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Irene Louise Colvin was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Powell, S.D., to Culvin and Marie (Smith) Colvin. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Yeoman 2nd Class.
Survivors include her children: daughter, Sharon Leach of Eden Prairie, Minn., son, Stephen Leach of Jackson, son, Joseph Leach of Jackson, son, Mark Leach of Jackson, son, Christopher Leach of Jackson, daughter, Julie Kiehl of Jackson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
