ODIN -- A celebration of life service for Irene J. Sandbo, 106, of Odin, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin, Minn., with burial in the church cemetery.
Sandbo died Sunday morning, Aug. 21, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society-The Village in Mountain Lake, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Odin. Irene's service will be recorded and placed on her obituary page. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.
Irene Jeanette Hunstad Sandbo was born June 23, 1916, to loving and nurturing parents, Emil P. Hunstad and Annette Mathilda Hanson.
All her children, their spouses and families miss her and look forward to the day they will be reunited in heaven: Janice and Charles Strom, Norman and Ann Sandbo, Marion and Arnold Benson, Joyce and Jay Schreur, Wayne and Carole Sandbo, Robert and Shirley Sandbo, Donald and Janet Sandbo, John and Pam Sandbo, David and Kaydra Sandbo. She leaves as her legacy a family of 140+ in addition to many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
