TRUMAN -- Sandra Joy Lindgren, age 85, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022, at Heartland Senior Living in Truman. Her life here has ended but she is now able to walk on a beautiful path to Heaven.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago.
Sandra was born Aug. 10, 1936, to Irvin and Loretta (Blakeslee) Haertel in Fairmont. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fairmont. In 1952, she married Darrell Siem. The couple and their two sons lived in the Truman area most of their lives where they enjoyed living in the country, owning and riding horses. They were members of the Fairmont Saddle Club. Sandra completed many trail rides, one of the more frequent were rides in the Missouri Ozark region. One of the highlights of Sandra’s life was riding on her horse Trigger, in the Bicentennial Wagon Trail Ride. Sandra enjoyed spending time with family and many friends, discussing the Bible and playing Bingo. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Darrell Siem; second husband, Robert Lindgren; son, Randy Siem; and sister, Barbara Denson. She is survived by son, Ricky (Michele) Siem of Colorado, grandsons, Darren (Rhonda) of Colorado, Caleb (Kelsey) of Mankato, and Tanner (Shantel) of Colorado; and eight great-grandchildren. www.spencerowen.com
