Lois Mae was born June 8, 1938, in Guckeen, Minn., to Albert and Myrtle (Krosch) Gretillat. She was the oldest of three children. She attended school in Blue Earth, Huntley and East Chain and spent most of her adult life in Blue Earth at the ELM Homes. She worked for MRCI for over 25 years. Lois enjoyed going to county fairs, 4th of July celebrations, participating in Special Olympics softball, and was an ambassador for People First. She also looked forward to celebrating her birthday every year and had a special doll collection she was proud of. Lois will be missed dearly by her brother, Donald Gretillat of Blue Earth; and the staff and friends she made at St. Luke’s day program and the ELM Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant sister, Dorothy. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
