ALBERT LEA -- Ronald R. Rosenberg passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022. No services are planned at this time.
Ronald Richard Rosenberg was born Jan. 2, 1934 in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Chester Rosenberg and Levon (Dale) Rosenberg. He received his education in LaPorte, Granada and Fairmont, Minn. He graduated from Fairmont High School in May 1952. After high school, Ronald enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 1952. He served for four years as parachute rigger and was honorably discharged and returned to Fairmont, Minn. Ronald was united in marriage to Donna Jean Prull in 1957. This union was blessed with three children, Gerald Rosenberg, Derrice (Mike) Erickson and Deanna (Michael) Hutchins all of Albert Lea. The couple made their home briefly in Fairmont and were transferred to Albert Lea, Minn. by Ronald's employer Marigold (Kemps) Dairy. After 40 years with Kemps, Ronald retired. Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. In later years he dabbled in landscape painting and drawing. Left to cherish his memory are his his three children; brother, Darwin and sister-in-law Judith Rosenberg of Lakewood, Colo.; his sister-in-law, Ramona Rosenberg of Fairmont, Minn.; sister-in-law, Donna Lee Prull of Rochester, Minn.; sister and husband in-laws, Diane and Steve Lawrence of Tacoma, Wash.; his grandchildren, Blake, Logan, Skye, Samantha, Elizabeth, Grace, John, Hannah; many great-grand children, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean; his parents, Chester and Levon Rosenberg; brother, Gary Rosenberg; mother and father in-law, Geneva and Charles Prull; sister and brother in-law, Beverly and Tom Kinnander; sister and brother in-law, Betty and Eugene Connett; and brother-in-law, Durwood Prull. www.bayviewfuneral.com
