PEQUOT LAKES -- Diane Lyn Hinrichsen, 67, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Essentia St. Joseph Hospital. Private family graveside services will be in Blue Earth, Minn. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes.
Diane was born on Oct. 1, 1954, to Loren and Darlene (Oskerson) King in Fairmont, Minn. She attended high school and junior college to get her degree in nursing. She was nurse for over 30 years at Lake View Methodist. Diane was married to Dan Hinrichsen on May 17, 1975, in Fairmont, Minn. Together they moved to the Pequot Lakes area. Diane loved this area of Minnesota, but she also always kept up with her family and all their happenings. She loved to read and you could often find a stack of books by her bedside. Diane was excessively kind, always found the good in people and the humor in things. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Diane is survived by her spouse, Dan; sister, Lyn (Perry) Nagel; stepsister, Kate (Bob) Leet; sister-in-law, Pam (Ken) Edel; brother-in-law, Hans (Cindy) Hinrichsen; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Darlene King; stepfather, Mel Green; and her parents-in-law, Milden and Ruberta Hinrichsen.
