FAIRMONT -- Jackie Pritts passed away Friday morning, June 17, 2022, at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. This isn't going to be your usual obituary. It doesn't matter when or where she was born or who survived her.
I can't find the right words to describe our mother, but words don't mean as much as actions. Her actions helped shape the lives of 3 generations. We can only hope that everyone has that special person in their life, Jackie was ours, the person you could count on. She was generous with her time and love, always there to help, listen, teach, to care for and to forgive.
Jackie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will strive to be more like her, but it will be difficult. People like her don't come along very often.
She will be missed but her legacy of love will always stay with us. We were blessed to call her mom.
There will be a private gathering in the foothills of Melcroft, Pennsylvania, where Jackie grew up.
