In 1963, they moved to Blue Earth, Minn. where she taught in Delavan, Minn. Her teaching career eventually led her to Winnebago, Minn., where she enjoyed teaching 6th grade until her retirement. Bill passed away on June 20, 1991. On June 4, 1994, she married Wilfred (Bill) Krull. He passed away one year later on Aug. 21, 1995.
Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and co-worker that anyone could ever dream of having. If you knew Nadine, you were friends for life. She was always on the go and treasured every moment spent with her family, friends, bridge, coffee, and church groups, and pretty much anyone she met. Nadine was also very active within her Trinity Lutheran Church community where she was a longtime member of the church, circle, TLCW, and the handbell choir. She was always ready and willing to volunteer to help whenever and wherever needed, including the UHD Hospital Auxiliary and many other organizations over her lifetime. She received several community recognitions including, Teacher of the Year, The Mitchell Chautaugua’s Woman of Achievement Award, and the Blue Earth Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Award. She was also an avid traveler and visited many of the US states and several foreign countries.
