DUNNELL -- A celebration of life service for Irene E. Umbreit, 100, of Dunnell, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell. Burial will be in Lake Fremont Cemetery, rural Dunnell.
Umbreit died Friday afternoon, July 1, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System in St. James, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dunnell, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Irene Elfrieda Scherer was born March 4, 1922, in Dover, Minn., the daughter of Herman and Mathilda (Ihrke) Scherer.
Survivors include: her children, Fay Umbreit, Curt Umbreit, and Nancy Roehler, all of Dunnell; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
