BRANDON, S.D. — Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald “Jerry” L. Cox, 79, of Brandon, S.D., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow the service in Calvary Cemetery, Fairmont, with full military graveside honors by Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222. Cox passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at his home in Brandon, S.D. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
