Michael ‘Mike’ N. Bleess
GRANADA — Michael “Mike” Napoleon Bleess, age 78, a devoted husband, loving father, an adoring “Pa” & “Boppa,” and a generous friend, died Friday, May 27, 2022, in Juneau, Alaska, from complications after emergency surgery. His funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Christian Church in Fairmont, Minn., with visitation from 1-2 p.m.
Michael Napoleon Bleess was born April 19, 1944, in Mankato, Minn., to Francis and Maureen Bleess. He grew up in Blue Earth, Minn. He met and married Juanita Kay Royce, who remained his loving companion for the rest of his life. Together they raised four children, Lonny (Karen) Bleess, Sheila (Brent) Hanke, Tamra (Jay) Wohlhuter, and Todd (Megan) Bleess. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
