Schwager passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System-St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn is in charge of arrangements. 

Robert John Schwager was born July 8, 1949, to Robert Walter and Lucille Genevieve (Kellen) Schwager in Fairmont, Minn.

Survivors include: his wife, Alice Schwager of Sherburn, Minn.; sons, Shannon Schwager of Trimont, Minn., and Shane Schwager of Welcome, Minn.; daughter, Sheila Schwager of Fairmont, Minn.; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Cindy (O’Dell) Schwager of Sherburn; other relatives and friends.
