Sokoloski died Thursday morning, May 19, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Welcome is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Wayne Sokoloski was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn., to Gregory John and Leona Christine (Kryger) Sokoloski. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam until his honorable discharge.

Survivors include: his two sons, Shannon Wayne Sokoloski of Farmington, Iowa, and Byron Thomas Sokoloski of Fairmont, Minn.; one grandson; brother, Ken Sokoloski of Welcome; sister, Sue Hed of Welcome; other relatives and friends.
